Eric Chaz

My name is Eric Chaz (short for Czechanski). Please let me tell you a little about my business and myself. I am blessed to be inspired by my beautiful wife, Jennifer, and my two children, Kyle and Brayden. They seem to tolerate my long work hours.

Repairing guitars and basses went hand in hand with learning how to play guitar when I was 12 years old. I immediately took my first guitar apart and modified it. In 1987, I started working for a guitar company assembling and setting up guitars. From there, I was employed by a small guitar repair shop, where I started to develop my skills as a repairman and builder. It was here that I secured my business license in 1990 and left to open a shop of my own in 1994 called Eric's Guitar Shop. I feel very blessed to be able to do this for a living for the last 34 years.

Billy Butler

My name is Billy Butler. I started playing guitar when I was in middle school. I never had the dream of being a rockstar-I wanted to know how the guitar works. Shortly after I started playing, I wanted something different out of my guitar. I ripped the pickup out, modified its lead(to 4 conductor). From this point on, I was enamored with modifying and assembling guitars. All of this made me love doing this type of work. Years passed and I needed a part for a guitar project I was working on. I called around to different places and when I called Eric, he said come on by. After looking at the project I was working on, he mentioned that there was an open position at the shop. I’ve been fixing guitars with Eric ever since.
